Original build
Both cameras on screen.
The first version focused on the core promise: front and back camera previews running together, a full-screen 9:16 camera view, draggable PiP, camera swap, mirror, zoom, and save-to-Photos recording.
DuaLens started as a simple front/back camera recorder and quickly became a content creation tool for reactions, vlogs, reviews, podcasts, and fast mobile storytelling.
The first version focused on the core promise: front and back camera previews running together, a full-screen 9:16 camera view, draggable PiP, camera swap, mirror, zoom, and save-to-Photos recording.
Layouts became live-switchable, with smoother PiP movement, vertical PiP defaults, split and side-by-side framing, long-term podcast ideas, focus controls, smoother zoom, and stronger handling for camera interruptions.
React mode added photo and video import, link-based reactions, play and pause controls, mute and volume handling, camera PiP over content, hideable PiP, and export fixes so on-screen framing matches saved videos more closely.
The App Store release shipped with privacy/support pages, App Store metadata, screenshots, preview video assets, launch notes, and Cue Play Media Inc. support details.
DuaLens+ introduced the paid layer: clean exports, watermark controls, creator features, and a clearer upgrade path while keeping the free app useful for real creators.
Moment Marks, cue prompts, front light, lock screen launcher work, saved mark references, recording status polish, and reaction controls were added to help one-person creators move faster.
The Android app added CameraX recording, React import, Android share support, safer startup fallback, Play Billing setup, release bundles, tester APKs, and appeal-ready notes after Google Play review issues.
The next release focuses on smoother React audio/video sync, safer camera recovery when switching apps, reduced heat paths, cleaner watermark behavior, vertical-only PiP exports, Android stability, and future formats for podcast-style split recording.
