DuaLens is a camera and video recording app. This Privacy Policy explains how DuaLens handles information when you use the app.
Summary
DuaLens is designed to work locally on your device. The app does not require an account, does not sell personal information, does not show third-party ads, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Information the App Uses
DuaLens requests access to camera, microphone, and Photos permissions. Camera access is used to show and record front and back camera video. Microphone access is used to record audio with your video. Photos access is used to save completed recordings to your Photos library.
Videos and Audio
Videos and audio you create with DuaLens are saved to your device's Photos library when you choose to stop and save a recording. DuaLens does not upload your videos or audio to our servers.
Data Collection
The current version of DuaLens does not collect personal data from the app, does not create user accounts, and does not transmit your recordings off your device.
Third-Party Services
The current version of DuaLens does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
App Store and Device Services
Apple may process information through iOS, the App Store, TestFlight, Photos, crash reporting, purchases, or other Apple services according to Apple's own policies and settings. DuaLens does not control Apple's processing.
Permissions
You can change camera, microphone, and photo permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. If you deny a permission, some features may not work.
Children
DuaLens is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
DuaLens uses iOS system permissions and on-device processing to limit access to your camera, microphone, and Photos library. You are responsible for the content you record and share.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as DuaLens changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and revise the policy.
